Philosophy

«Good wines are produced in the winery but fine wines are made in the vineyard”, this is the moto of Yiannis Tselepos.

Thus, we focused on the development of a privately-owned vineyard, which nowadays consists of approximately 65 hectares, setting as our main priority the quality of the raw material through the unremitting dedication and care of the vineyard!

The main goal of our estate since its foundation was the production of highest quality wines, while at the same time trying to point out the enormous potential of the indigenous varieties and of each microclimate (terroir). «Good wines are produced in the winery but fine wines are made in the vineyard”, this is the moto of Yiannis Tselepos. Thus, we focused on the development of a privately-owned vineyard, which nowadays consists of around 65 hectares, setting as our main priority the quality of the raw material through the unremitting dedication and care of the vineyard!

Our main conviction is that indigenous varieties have all the potential to deliver highquality wines of great complexity. Moreover, we aim to preserve and promote the special characteristics of certain international varieties which suit specific vineyards of the estate; for this reason, we stressed the emphasis on the production (mainly) of mono-varietal wines.

An immediate goal of our company is the transition towards a more sustainable management of the production, while at the same time, taking specific measures so that we minimize the environmental footprint impact of the estate.
