30 years TSELEPOSWINES

In 1989, Yiannis and Amalia launched an effort to create something new in the field of Greek wines, having as only baggage their vision and love for high quality wine. Today, over 30 years later, their vision for Ktima Tselepos has been fulfilled and one could tell for sure, that they have left their indelible mark on Greek wine.

The route towards success was gradual and the main steps of this effort were:

1989

Foundation of Ktima Tselepos in Mantinia and first plantings

1991

Bottling of the first Mantinia

1993

Bottling of the first Ktima Tselepos Red (Cabernet Sauvignon & Merlot)

1994

Inauguration of the new winery in Ktima Tselepos

1996

Bottling of Amalia Brut (1st sparkling wine from moschofilero with the traditional method of champagne)

1998

Vinification for the first time of Kokkinomilos

1999

Vinification of Avlotopi

2001

Kokkinomilos is awarded as Best Merlot in the USA

2003

Purchase of the estate in Koutsi of Nemea and foundation of Ktima Driopi – The Agiorgitiko wine comes into the foreground

2004

Release of the first Nemea Reserve

2006

Renovation of the old windmill in Ktima Tselepos

2008

Release for the first time of Mantinia barrel, which is later renamed as Blanc de Gris

2011

Completion of the winery at Ktima Tselepos with a new section for vinification

2013

Foundation of Canava Chrisou-Tselepos in Santorini – The Assyrtiko wine comes into the foreground

2016

Collaboration of Ktima Driopi and HellasGroup and opening up to the Chinese market

2019
